Ranjan Mitter is a faculty member of the Management Centre for Human values at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC) and his primary interests include incorporating ethics and values in management education. He teaches courses like Strategic Management, Ethics in International Business, Corporate Social Responsibility, etc.
Mr. Mitter is jointly directing along with another IIMC Faculty member a foray into Education through a widely
acclaimed Management Development Programme titled “Educational Excellence in Schools” and is about to launch a similar venture for “Colleges and Universities”.
Mr. Mitter is in charge of the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture, which is a multifaceted organization that houses besides The Future Foundation School, an art gallery called Galerie La Mere, a library, a charitable health clinic and a research unit that delves into the history and values of the Indian freedom movement (www.sriaurobindoinstitute.org).
Professor Chittaranjan Das, eminent educator and author will also be present to join in the discussion after tea at 11:00.
