RigVeda: The Hymns to the Mystic Fire

Wow, Vladimir, this sounds (and looks) like a very enlightening course! http://www.universityofhumanunity.org/biblios/RV%205.1-28with%20Content.pdf

Would you suggest this as a good starting point for someone completely new to the Vedas? Or is there a more introductory-type text that you would recommend for one to start with?

It is a course of advanced studies. It can be used by the students of Indian Philosophy and Sanskrit language.
